What is a Notary?

A notary is a lawyer with special powers to witness signatures to documents and to certify copies of documents. Most documents to be used abroad will require notarisation.

What is your role?

My primary role is to ensure that the person signing a document understands it and, most importantly, really is the person who is signing it.

What are your services?

I do most kinds of notary work for private and commercial clients. For private clients this includes witnessing powers of attorney for overseas property purchases, sales and mortgages, certification of copies of passports, executing foreign wills, certifying qualifications for emigration, taking affidavits for litigation and witnessing documentation for overseas weddings. I have an extensive commercial practice and I can notarise all commercial documents.

I am also registered at the UK Foreign Office for the “e-apostille”. This is particularly useful to business clients. If you are a business and would like to become known to me so that I can obtain the e-apostille on your documents please contact me.
